SAS Neuro-Sensory Activation Programmes

Accredited SAS Practitioners will design a programme around the personal abilities, needs and wishes of the client. This can include appropriate elements of the following programmes:

  • The SAS Attention Activation Programme aims to increase attention and concentration and reduce hyperactivity and impulsiveness.
  • The SAS developed Constraint-Induced Language Therapy (CILT) is directed at the specialised language processing centres in the brain with the aim of improving language processing and speech production.
  • The SAS Learning Enhancement Programme is specifically designed with the aim of activating and balancing the two brain-halves and removing the blocks that are holding back learning, understanding and memory. This programme is designed for those that wish to progress further.
  • The SAS Confidence Building Programme uses NLP scripts and brain activation techniques with the aim of building confidence and boosting self worth.
  • The SAS Sensory Balancing Programme aims to reduce the negative effects of poor sensory processing or any sensory processing disorder and can be used with other SAS interventions.

To ensure maximum effectiveness Neuro-Sensory Activation sessions are given on a daily basis for one to two hours every day, normally Monday to Saturday, for two to three weeks. Total duration of an initial programme is mostly 18 or 24 hours. In some cases additional reinforcement programmes are provided some time after the initial programme to reinforce and consolidate changes in the brain.

Clients are invited to return 4 to 6 weeks after completion of the initial programme to provide feedback on the behaviour and performance progression following the programme.

Tutoring & Remedial Interventions

Most Accredited SAS Practitioners offer additional tutoring and other remedial interventions as an effective way to help the client to move forwards.

All our Accredited SAS Practitioners are there to answer your questions, guide you in your search for solutions towards improved learning, and support you with issues related to developmental difficulties.
